Description
The Leonard L. Milberg ’53 High School Poetry Prize recognizes outstanding work by student writers in the 11th grade in the U.S. or abroad. Contest judges are poets on the Princeton University creative writing faculty.
Requirements
High school juniors (11th grade or international equivalent) from any school, including public, non-public, charter, or home schools, are eligible. Students can submit up to three poems. Poems that have been previously submitted to or won other contests are accepted. Previously published poems are also permitted, though students must provide reference details. Poems originally in other languages are accepted but must be translated into English by the student.

Cash awards $500-$1500 and publication on website
