92NY’s Young Writers Workshop gathers talented teen writers from all over the country for warm, supportive workshops in fiction, non-fiction, and poetry with some NYC’s best creative writing teachers
Established in 2012, the Adroit Journal’s Summer Mentorship Program is a virtual opportunity that connects high school students, including graduating seniors and gap year students with experienced writers. The program focuses on exploring the creative writing process, including drafting, revising, and editing. The summer mentorship usually offers guidance in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction/memoir.
Alpha is a twelve-day writing workshop for 14 to 19 year olds held in July each year at the University of Pittsburgh’s Greensburg campus. The program focuses on genre fiction - sci fi, horror, and fantasy.
