92NY’s Young Writers Workshop gathers talented teen writers from all over the country for warm, supportive workshops in fiction, non-fiction, and poetry with some NYC’s best creative writing teachers

Full description

In the first week, consider what makes a poem memorable and how to write arresting images. In the second week, continue your investigation with an exploration of form, character and voice in fiction. In the final week, study journalism, true crime, narrative history, personal essay and/or podcasting to craft a compelling, thoughtful, true stories. Students 17 and older may apply for housing in the summer of 2025 at an additional cost. For more information visit the website.
