Full description

The Young Writers Workshop differs from traditional creative writing classes by focusing on informal, playful, and expressive writing to enhance language and thinking skills. Through these creative activities, and with the help of peer feedback, students refine their work into more polished pieces, including personal narratives, short stories, poems, short plays, and creative nonfiction experiments. With small class sizes (around 12 students), the workshop ensures individual attention and promotes a supportive learning environment where students can confidently explore new writing and thought processes. The goal of the workshop is to nurture students' ability to trust their own voice and language, think independently, and collaborate with others.
