Ember is a semiannual journal of poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction for all age groups. One of the foundational goals of Ember is to foster the next generation of great writers by providing them with excellent reading material now. Submissions for and by readers aged 10 to 18 are strongly encouraged, and our submission queue is open to all writers age 10 to adult.
